Presented Mazda CX-50 2025 The new model year will offer buyers an electric option for the first time, increasing the number of available powertrains to three. This car uses Toyota’s hybrid system, which combines three electric motors, a battery, a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission.


The power unit produces a total of 219 hp. and 227 Nm of torque. Consumption is 6.2 liters per 100 km, according to the automaker. The unit, which powers many Toyota and Lexus models, has been calibrated by Mazda to adjust pedal response and other parameters.

Pricing for the hybrid starts at $35,390 for the CX-50 Hybrid Preferred and goes up to $41,470 for the Hybrid Premium Plus. All-wheel drive is standard. Mazda visually sets the hybrid apart with a unique lower front bumper design, special wheels, and a new red leather interior option.

The mid-range 2.5 Turbo, which starts at $39,420, is history. The other trim levels of the model are carried over to the 2025 model year without any price increases. The base gasoline version costs $31,720.

CX-50 2.5 models The S continues to use Mazda’s naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 187 hp. The 2.5 Turbo crossovers are equipped with the automaker’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 256 hp. Mazda says the non-hybrid 2025 CX-50 will start arriving in dealerships in August, while the CX-50 Hybrid will go on sale by the end of the year.
