NVIDIA shared first performance data of Black Myth Wukong, one of the most anticipated games this year, and also confirmed a special event that will allow us for a limited time get it for free when purchasing a GeForce RTX 4070 or higher graphics card or a laptop or PC configured with at least this graphics card.

We could play with these requirements 1080p with very high or maximum quality and keep good smoothness, but using scaling technology like NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR or Intel XeSS. To play with a higher resolution, we will need a more powerful graphics card.

The CPU equivalence is bad as the closest thing to a Ryzen 5 5500 would be an Intel Core i7-8700. There is an error in the GPU equivalents, as the GeForce RTX 2060 is actually slower than the other two. The closest would be a GeForce RTX 2070.

Black Myth Wukong Performance and Recommended GPU

With full ray tracing enabled in Black Myth Wukong and the game set to 1440p, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and GeForce RTX 3080 10GB have trouble keeping it moving, even with NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution enabled in quality mode. The first averages less than 20 FPS and the second does not reach 25 FPS, so we can say that It’s unplayable.
