The first products will start coming off the conveyor on July 17 Mazda EZ-6It will be available with hybrid and electric transmission. The car is built on the Changan EPA platform. Chinese media calls the car a sedan, but it is actually a liftback with a coupe design. The rear roofline flows smoothly into the trunk lid. The car has hidden door handles.

The dimensions are 4921x1890x1485 mm, and the wheelbase is 2985 mm. The interior features an LCD instrument display and a 14.6-inch central display of the infotainment system. The interior is almost devoid of buttons, they remained only on the steering wheel and doors.

There are two places for charged smartphones in the center console. Leather and suede-like materials are widely used in the interior. The computer part is built on the basis of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155. The car is equipped with a Sony audio system with 14 speakers, 64-color backlighting, zero-gravity front seats and a panoramic roof.

It was previously reported that an electric car can travel 600 km on a single charge, while a fully charged and refuelled hybrid can travel more than 1,000 km. The hybrid version uses the same JL473QJ engine as Changan’s Deepal SL03. Peak power is 70 kW when the engine is used solely as a generator.

The wheels are driven by a 160 kW electric motor mounted on the rear axle. The fully electric version uses a 190 kW MSED04 electric motor built by Changan Mazda Engine Company Ltd and mounted on the rear axle. Both versions will use lithium-iron-phosphate batteries. Prices have not yet been announced.
