Corsair has managed to become over the years a reference brand for many people who prefer to build their own PC to purchase already assembled. This is because, as it has always proven, the importance it places on quality, performance and design is one of the most remarkable on the market. Just take a quick look at the latest publications on their components, peripherals and more to confirm how much these three strengths are present in them.

So every new brand launch is good news for fans and modders as the options expand and on many occasions these debuts also come with new technologies that improve performance and/or aesthetics. In addition, we will also find novelties that greatly facilitate the assembly of new systems or the integration of new components into them. The most visible and most recent example of this is iCUE Link, its award-winning technology that makes it easy to connect components by allowing them to be daisy-chained instead of each having to be connected independently to a cabinet. .

So let’s take a look at the company’s two latest developments.

Corsair 3500X and PWM fans, attention moderators

Corsair 3500X

We start with the Corsair 3500X mid-tower chassis, which was already presented at Computex 2024 and which my colleague Isidro was able to see live at the Taipei fair. As you can see in the image above, without a doubt the most distinctive aspect of this tower, aside from the tempered glass side, is extends the view from the interior to the front as wellthereby providing a much broader and panoramic view of the “innards” of the system.

To ensure proper ventilation, Corsair has placed the fan mounting points on the right side as well as on the top and bottom panels, allowing for optimal airflow without having to mount fans on the front. As for the controls that are usually located in the same have been moved to the front of the top panelso they are still available when we use PC.

The Corsair 3500X allows mounting of motherboards with sizes from Mini-ITX to EATX and for those looking for the perfect aesthetic inside a PC, it is compatible with the latest motherboards with a reverse connector, such as ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zerowhich simultaneously hide cables from view, improve ventilation flow efficiency and reduce the amount of surface area on which dust, particles, etc. can accumulate.

The Corsair 3500X chassis is available now on its website in black and white and on its own or in combination with various fan options, starting at 99.90 euros.

RS series PWM fans

In addition, Corsair also presented news RS series PWM fans 120 and 140 millimeters. Designed for chain mounting, they offer the great performance and reliability of the brand’s components at a price within reach of all budgets, making them an excellent choice especially for those users who prefer a more sober aesthetic and therefore forgo component mounting. with RGB LED lighting, although there are also versions with lighting, for those who like it.

Thank you to yours four-pin PWM connectors, which allow chain mounting, their connection to the motherboard is greatly simplified, since it will only be necessary to run a cable from one of them to the system motherboard. With Zero RPM mode, its rotation speed is reduced, even stopping when its operation is not required, providing a quieter user experience. And when they need to deliver peak performance, the Corsair Magnetic Dome bearing reduces both noise and friction, which also translates into longer life.

Corsair’s RS series PWM fans are now on sale on their website in black and white. They can be purchased individually or in packs and the price per unit is included 11.90 euros.
