We already have the requirements for NBA 2K25. If you are fans of basketball and this famous franchise, I have good news for you, the PC version is finally here left the foundation of the old generation of consoles, which was present in both NBA 2K23 and NBA 2K24 for PC and made the jump to the graphics engine used in the current console version.
As you might imagine, this has two very important consequences. The first is that the requirements of NBA 2K25 for PC will be higher than previous versions, and the second is that it will offer in exchange very high quality technical design, with graphics consistent with what can be expected from the current generation of consoles. No PC-only technologies will be implemented.
We have quite a few requests higher than NBA 2K24, but the truth is, in spite of the increase they have received, they are quite affordable. There are serious errors in the GPU equivalents, as the Radeon RX 570 is more powerful than the GeForce GTX 960 and the Intel Arc A580 is much more powerful than the other two.
The right way would be GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 570. The Intel Arc A380 doesn’t fit as an equivalent either because it’s much slower than the other two.
Some of the requirements correspond to what we are used to seeing in games developed based on the current generation of consoles. They should allow us to move NBA 2K25 in 1080p and 1440p resolution with maximum quality and overall fluidity.
Again we have errors in the graphics card equivalents. The right way would be GeForce RTX 2070, Radeon RX 5700 XT or Intel Arc A750.
NBA 2K25 will launch on September 6though as is usually the case with this type of release, it’s already available for pre-order.
