Of course, depending on the profile of the people you communicate with on WhatsApp, as well as your personal preferences, you may be indifferent to this message. or that it made your dayor maybe even a week. And since this format of information exchange began to become popular, that is, instant messaging services allow you to send audio recordings, many people have signed up for intensive use of this formula, which saves them from writing messages, which is especially convenient if they are long.
Initially This feature has gained popularity especially among the youngest, but it is gradually spreading and today it is common to receive voice notes from people of any age and status. And in relation to what I mentioned earlier, we’ve also seen it increase in size. In my case, I remember the first ones I got could only last 15 to 30 seconds at most. However, these days it’s not too strange to receive voice memos that are several minutes long.
The way we value getting such a grade varies depending on several aspects. First, of course, how much we like (or dislike), in general, this format of communication, but also depending on the value we attach to the person who sent it to us in particular, and therefore whether listening to his voice for a few minutes is a gift or torture. And it would be ideal (and terrifying at the same time) if WhatsApp could apply this discrimination to limit the length of voice messages based on whether we like them more or less.

For now, we have to settle for another solution, which is not so technologically advanced, but will undoubtedly make many people very happy. And as WABetaInfo found out, WhatsApp has already started rolling out the automatic voice memo transcription feature on Android. This is something very much expected, especially since this feature was already seen in the beta version for iOS, which the stable version has not yet reached.
So everything indicates that Meta is already being prepared for universal deployment, or at least for Android and iOS, although there is no official communication in this regard, and therefore no estimated date when this will happen. Of course, given that this beta deployment for WhatsApp for Android only offers this feature to some users, we can guess that we’ll have to wait a while for general availability.
