Ivanka Trumpdaughter of the former US President Donald Trumpthanked his father on Saturday for the prayers sent to him after the shooting at a Republican rally, sending him a direct message: “I love you, Dad, today and always.”

“Thank you for your love and prayers for my father and the other victims of today’s senseless violence in Butler, Pennsylvania. I thank the Secret Service and all agents law for a quick response and decisive action. “I will continue to pray for our country,” he added on X and Instagram.

His brother Donald Trump Jr. initially assured the network ABC that the Republican politician was in a good mood and that nothing could stop him.

Later, also on Instagram and with a photo of his father with his fist raised during the evacuation, he repeated: “He will never stop fighting for America.”

Trump was holding a rally in Butler when the attack occurred. He was on stage for just 10 minutes when He was shot in the right ear. and was evacuated from the scene by Secret Service agents.

Two people were killed, including the suspected attacker, and two others were injured.

The attack came two days before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where will officially announce his candidacy for the Republican nomination in the elections on November 5th. (EFE)
