New hybrid sedan introduced Changan Nevo A05Having inherited the design of the front part of its predecessor with closed radiator grilles, sharp headlights and the brand logo in the middle.
The rear end has been significantly modified and is equipped with a new group of headlights. The new car also has 215/55R17 or 225/45R18 tires. The dimensions are 4785x1840x1460 mm and the wheelbase is 2765 mm.
The new Nevo A05 still uses a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Blue Whale engine (model JL469Q1) producing a maximum power of 72 kW (97 hp) and an electric motor (model TZ270XY5) producing a maximum power of 158 kW (212 hp) with a lithium-iron-phosphate battery from the CATL-Changan joint venture. The maximum speed is 185 km/h. Battery capacity and range are not yet disclosed at this time.
In June, 5,041 Nevo A05s were sold, accounting for 1.59% of China’s compact sedan market share. In the first half of 2024, deliveries of the Changan Nevo series totaled 72,968 vehicles, of which 15,171 were delivered in June, an increase of 12% from the previous month.
