After a long period of testing in the closed beta phase of the application Microsoft Designer is coming to iOS and Android and with it, the most powerful and affordable way to create images with generative artificial intelligence at the touch of a button. calljust as it already happens on the desktop.

This new Microsoft Designer application works in a similar way to the web: it offers templates with descriptions (eg prompts) that help you create an AI-generated image, custom web stickers, emoticons, and even image editing tools like Restyle and Replace Background. Everything is really intuitive and accessible to everyone.

Likewise, Microsoft Designer works as a free application, but with limits: the same 15 daily free “boosts” for creating AI imageswhich you can extend up to 100 if you have a Copilot Pro subscription (22 euros per month, although it includes more benefits).

On the other hand, Microsoft Designer integrates with various Microsoft products, from the Photos application in Windows 11 to applications from the productivity suite of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint, although in these cases the degree of functionality also depends on having a subscription Copilot Pro or Microsoft 365.

For the rest, it is worth reminding that Microsoft Designer is based on DALL-E 3, although it offers significant improvements over it, as well as Copilot, based on ChatGPT (in short: if you use it for free, Microsoft’s design is more powerful, if you pay, the original the product is usually better).
