Twitter/X user @NTDEV has posted a series of screenshots showing the Tiny11 Core Windows 11 build running on the iPhone 15 Pro smartphone.
The features released by the UTM SE PC emulator include a single-core QEMU virtual processor clocked at 1GHz and 2GB of RAM. Tom’s Hardware points out that “emulation” and “virtualization” are two different concepts. Emulation simulates a specific hardware architecture and allows you to run software on different platforms. Virtualization allows you to create pools of virtual resources (CPU cores, RAM, etc.) dedicated to separate operating systems within a virtual machine.
When examining the screenshots, it turns out that the resolution and aspect ratio are severely cropped compared to the native resolution of the iPhone 15 Pro. All screenshots show very limited OS usage scenarios.
Very slow, takes about 20 minutes to install but still has Windows 11 on iPhone 15 Pro. @NTDEV
