Hyunndai Motor Group’s Supernal aims to make electric vehicles available to everyone.
“By adding a new dimension to mobility, we set ourselves the task of changing the way people, society and society move, connect and live.” Said Jaivon Sheen, CEO of Supernal and President of Hyundai.
As part of its plans, Supernal is developing a family of electric aircraft and plans to launch the first eVTOL commercial flight in 2028. The company also recently announced a partnership with the Miami government to develop this technology in the city.
The company’s first aircraft will run on electricity and have an unmanned mode. It is planned to host four to five passengers on the first routes adjacent to the city, yet will not be able to fly in the city. All for safety.
