The GeForce RTX 5090 will be the successor to the GeForce RTX 4090 and will become a graphics card Stronger general consumer market. If the specs I told you then are confirmed, the GeForce RTX 5090 will be up to 68% more powerful than the GeForce RTX 4090 at FP32, but as you already know, gaming performance may not be directly equivalent to power with simple precision. By that I mean the difference between the two in games should be less, that’s why I told you that in rasterization the new top of the line could be up to 40% more powerful.

A new rumor says that the GeForce RTX 5090 it will have up to 48% more performance than the GeForce RTX 4090 in games it’s a fact that matches what I’ve been telling you so far, and it makes a lot of sense if we’re talking about rasterization. In ray tracing, the difference in favor of the former should be much larger, thanks to the use of new cores to accelerate ray tracing and the jump in GDDR7 memory, which will allow it to achieve more bandwidth.

GeForce RTX 5090 vs NVIDIA TITAN RTX Blackwell

There’s also another rumor that says NVIDIA is working on a new TITAN RTX Blackwell and claims that the said graphics card will be 63% more powerful than the GeForce RTX 4090. If confirmed, it will also 15% more powerful than GeForce RTX 5090a small difference, but one that could translate into a big price difference.

It should be recalled that NVIDIA also had Ada Lovelace’s TITAN RTX in development. This was real, it existed, but it never made it to marketand it was also not used to shape the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, probably because the green giant realized that it was unnecessary given the market conditions, and AMD never had anything that could compete with the performance of the GeForce RTX 4090.

What I mean by this is that the NVIDIA TITAN RTX Blackwell may exist, but it may never hit the market and will only serve as a reference for the GeForce RTX 5090 Ti design. We’ll see what happens with the launch of this new generation of NVIDIA, which will theoretically start arriving between late 2024 and early 2025.
