Lantu ZhiyinThe new electric SUV will be officially launched in the third quarter and is planned to be exported to overseas markets in the future. The price of Huawei’s smart driving version is expected to be around 250,000 yuan, Daily Economic News reported.
The vehicle is based on the ESSA intelligent electrical architecture and 800V silicon carbide platform, designed and developed according to the “China-Europe Double Five Star” standard. Equipped with CDC adjustable shock-absorbing suspension and 5C battery charging technology, the vehicle can reach a maximum range of 901 kilometers and charge for 515 kilometers in 15 minutes.
Lantu Automobile CEO Lu Fan also previously said that the Lantu Zhiyin has the ability to surpass the Model Y in all technical aspects: “We are confident that we can make it the most competitive product in this price range.”
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies, Lantu Zhiyin It has a length of 4725 mm, a height of 1636 (1653) mm and is positioned as a fully electric mid-size SUV.
In terms of exterior design, Lantu Zhiyin inherits the family design style, with distinctive expressive light bars and vivid brand logos. There are stylish LED lights at the front, simple lines on the side of the body, a “Z”-shaped line at the bottom, the rear wheels protrude outward, hidden door handles and side view cameras, and new black wheels.
The Lantu Zhiyin offers different body colors and this time it comes in white and green. The body has a two-tone design with black exterior mirrors and roof racks.
The new vehicle application submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology lists a total of 6 configurations of Lantu Zhiyin. The four-wheel drive version has 160 kW front and rear motors and is equipped with 76.9/77.3 kWh CATL lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, providing a total range of 570 kilometers. The two-wheel drive model, equipped with the same battery specifications, has a traction motor power of 215 kilowatts and a range of 625 kilometers.
The other two configurations have a drive motor output of 230 kW and are equipped with triple CATL lithium batteries with capacities of 78.7 kWh and 108.7 kWh and a range of 650 km and 901 km, respectively.
