Apple has been releasing developer betas of iOS 18 for a while now, introducing them in early June. In fact, we’ve seen the first public beta coming in the past few weeks. Today, the fourth developer beta of iOS 18 has been released.
We should point out that iOS 18 beta 4 is only available for developers, so you will need a developer account to download it. Public version of the fourth beta Let’s say it happens next week. So after a week it will be available to everyone who signed up for the beta program.

What’s New in CarPlay
iOS 18 beta 4 brings innovations to Apple CarPlay, which we use in vehicles. There are now 8 new wallpapers available for light and dark mode. These wallpapers are inspired by the wallpapers that will be available on iPhones with iOS 18.
“Control menu” in the camera app
A new option called “Controls Menu” has been added to the camera application settings. This feature will keep the previously used camera tool in the controls menu instead of showing the list of camera tools.
New flashlight interface
The revamped flashlight interface meets users in the fourth beta. The feature was previously exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro. It can now be used on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
