Samsung is tightening its sideloading restrictions with a new auto-blocker feature that makes it impossible to sideload dangerous apps. This feature is enabled by default on the latest Samsung devices running One UI 6.1.1 or later. This means that the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z FLip 6 and Z Fold 6 come with the auto-blocker feature by default.

Autoblocker

Samsung now blocks sideloading of apps from unknown sources by default on the new Samsung Galaxy with Auto Blocker. This new feature prevents users from sideloading dangerous apps that are not available through the Play Store or Galaxy Store. Such Android apps may contain malware.

The recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are the first Samsung devices to come with the new sideloading restriction by default. Users will receive more information about the auto-blocker restrictions during the installation process and will have the option to disable them in the Settings menu, but you will need to enter your login details first to do so.
