And as we already expected, calling it a mod is a bit short, because both the amount of content it contains and its quality confirm that we could consider it a completely new game. With the one exception, of course, that you need the base game.

And it is in this respect that we find the main limitation of Fallout: London, and that’s it cannot be installed over an updated version of Fallout 4. Players who have it on GOG will be able to directly use the installer, which will take care of «downgrade» the game to the version before the April update. The mod, although downloaded from GOG, is also compatible with the Steam version, although in this case users will have to go through the same return process first. Those who will unfortunately be left out are the players who bought it from Epic Games, as this store does not allow the installation of previous versions.

Of course, that should also be taken into account This mod makes irreversible changes to the base game installation, and which is also incompatible with the game’s cloud save. So if you’re currently playing Fallout 4, it’s best to finish it or save it safely before installing Fallout: London.
