Stability AI introduces a new model called “Stable Video 4D” that transforms a video from eight different perspectives into new videos. The result is a realistic 3D representation of an object.
Stability AI, known for its Stable Diffusion 3 model, is launching a new model that can convert videos into 3D images from eight different angles. Stable Video 4D can interpret how the object would look in real life. Creative professionals can use Stable Video 4D for video editing or virtual reality. The model is currently in the research phase but is already available on Hugging Face.
Stable Video 4D is Stability AI’s new model, currently still in the research phase. The AI company gives a preview of what the model has to offer. Users can upload a video, which the model then converts into a 3D view from different angles. The model can generate five different frames from eight perspectives from a video in 40 seconds.
The Stable Video 4D model is similar to its predecessor, Stable Video 3D, which was introduced in March. Stable Video 3D is capable of creating rotating 3D videos from photos, so this is not the first time Stability AI has collaborated with 3D generation.
