The two drug trafficking leaders were arrested Thursday in a sting operation at a small airfield near El Paso, Texas. They face charges of manufacturing drugs and running drug trafficking networks.

“Too many of our citizens’ lives have been lost to fentanyl. Too many families have been torn apart and hurt by this devastating drug. My administration will continue to do everything we can to hold drug dealers accountable and save American lives,” Biden said.

I want to commend the work of our law enforcement officers who made this arrest for their ongoing work to ensure that the Sinaloa Cartel is brought to justice.
