In recent weeks, information regarding the upcoming Telegram Premium subscription has leaked to the network. Until now, the founder of the messenger Pavlo Durov personally announced the innovations.

Durov noted that Telegram always offered many opportunities to users – messaging limits were higher than that of its competitors. But Telegram cannot make the functions of the program unlimited for everyone – otherwise the servers will not survive.

That’s why the messenger decided to offer a subscription that will increase the limits for those who really need it and want to pay for it. Telegram Premium will provide additional features, speed and resources. In addition, subscribers will be the first to reach various innovations.

At the same time, Durov made sure that all existing functions will remain free. And there will be even more free features in the future. In addition, all users will be able to view large files, premium stickers or reactions that can only be sent to subscribers.

Durov said he believes Telegram should be primarily supported by users, not advertisers. This will allow the messenger to focus on its target audience.

Telegram Premium will be officially introduced this month.
