Activision Blizzard uses an intelligent matchmaking system in Call of Duty, which is essential to offer players a good experience. The specified system analyze the skill level of each player and creates balanced matches based on these skills.

This prevents players with very high skill levels from ending up facing others with very low skill levels. In the end, it’s not just about skill, we have to take into account that not everyone has the same amount of time to devote to improving in specific games, and that also affects what we’ll be able to do.

Unfortunately, there are ways to bypass these intelligent systems matchmaking in many games, resorting to what is known as “smurfing”. It means to use secondary accounts which are not linked to the main account and allow a player with a high ranking main account to play against players who are well below their level.

One of the games that suffers from this problem the most is League of Legends and in recent years it has been so frustrating that I am alone I decided to stop playing it and recommend itAt the end of the day, there’s no point going into a game to have a good time only to find there is an overabundance of toxicity and high elo players masquerading as secondary accounts ruining games in silver and gold, or even lower ranks like iron and bronze.
