Star Wars Outlaws PC Requirements

We already have requests for Star Wars Outlaws, one of Ubisoft’s most important releases for the month of August and also one of the most anticipated games whose development ended about a month ago. In total, the French company listed four different configurations and listed the resolution and performance level What can we expect from each of them.

Star Wars Outlaws will be a game exclusive to current generation consoles and PC, and this already serves as a clear reference that gives us an idea of what to expect at the requirements level. Compared to the generation transition games, we will see a significant increase in demands at the hardware level, although nothing alarming that we have not seen in other games.

If you have a mid-range gaming PC Purchased in the last six years, you can play it in 1080p without any problems, although the requirements to enjoy it at higher resolutions are skyrocketing, especially at the graphics card level.

Fortunately, it is confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws will be compatible with NVIDIA DLSS 3which means that if we have a GeForce RTX 20 or RTX 30, we can improve the performance with DLSS Super Resolution, and if we have a GeForce RTX 40, we can also activate frame generation.

Requirements for Star Wars Outlaws

Minimal requirements

  • Windows 10 as an operating system (64-bit).
  • Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K processor (6 cores and 12 threads)
  • 16 GB RAM in two channels.
  • Graphics card GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB, Radeon RX 5600 XT or Intel Arc A750.
  • 6 GB of graphics memory.
  • SSD with 65 GB for free.
  • DirectX 12.

We can play 1080p with 30 FPS and low quality meeting this configuration if we use scaling in quality mode.

There are many errors in graphics equivalents because Radeon RX 5600 AMD Radeon RX 590.

Recommended requirements

  • Windows 10 as an operating system (64-bit).
  • Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-10400 processor (6 cores and 12 threads)
  • 16 GB RAM in two channels.
  • GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card.
  • 8 GB of graphics memory.
  • SSD with 65 GB for free.
  • DirectX 12.

This configuration will allow us to play 1080p and 60 FPS with high quality using scaling in quality mode.

In this case, there are no serious equivalence errors.

1440p requirements

  • Windows 10 as an operating system (64-bit).
  • Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i5-11600K processor (6 cores and 12 threads)
  • 16 GB RAM in two channels.
  • Graphics card GeForce RTX 3080 10GB, GeForce RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 6800 XT.
  • 10 GB of graphics memory.
  • SSD with 65 GB for free.
  • DirectX 12.

If we have a computer that meets these specifications, we can play 1440p with high quality and 60 FPS using scaling in quality mode.

GPU equivalents aren’t bad, they’re the closest, but it makes no sense to increase the CPU requirements to increase the resolution, nor assimilate the Ryzen 7 5800X with 8 cores and 16 threads to the Intel Core i5-11600K with 6 cores and 12 threads.

4K requirements

  • Windows 10 as an operating system (64-bit).
  • Processor Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Intel Core i7-12700K (8 cores and 16 threads)
  • 16 GB RAM in two channels.
  • GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card.
  • 16 GB of graphics memory.
  • SSD with 65 GB for free.
  • DirectX 12.

This configuration will allow us to play 4K with ultra quality and 60 FPS using scaling in quality mode.

The GeForce RTX 4080 is slightly slower than the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, but the difference is small, so the equivalence is not bad. Again, it makes no sense to increase the CPU requirements by increasing the resolution.

Star Wars Outlaws is coming to Xbox Series S, Xbox Series 30th of August.
