Lab9 Stores takes over its last competitor in Belgium and becomes the only Apple Premium Reseller in the country.

Lab9 Stores acquires Taco Systems in Waterloo. Lab9 thus acquires the last independent Apple Premium Reseller in Belgium. Lab9 takes over the entire seven-person store team, including the founders. The company’s workforce grows to 192.

Lab9 Stores began its journey towards a Belgian monopoly with the acquisition of fifteen Switch stores in the summer of 2022. Switch had just lost its contract with Apple as a premium reseller due to malpractice. Lab9 remodeled the locations and re-equipped them with Apple hardware.

Resellers only

Since then, Lab9 has strengthened its market position in Belgium. The integrator attaches great importance to its relationship with Apple and can now boast of being the only Apple Premium Reseller in Belgium. The company has a total of 31 branches in our country.

For existing Taco Systems customers, little will change. The customer base will be transferred to Lab9 and customers will be able to visit the same people in the same store, although it will look a little different.

Taco Systems generated sales of four million euros last year. It is not known how much Lab9 Stores will pay for the takeover.
