Nobody realizes that Google has hit hard with AIand that Google Chrome plays a very, very important role in the overall search engine strategy is also indisputable. And so, and as it could not be otherwise, the two interests had to intersect at some point (although, to be more precise, we are not talking about straight lines, but fabulously curved ones, so the said intersections will occur more than once) and the good news is that in this in this case, it does so by attacking one of the most common “problems” (I put it in quotes because it’s nothing particularly serious) among its users.

I’m talking, of course, about algae, more specifically about their unlimited accumulation in the same window, a terribly common habit, and which in many cases ends up taking us a long time to find the one we always want to see, and even forgetting that we have one open and replicating its content in another. And in this case I am not hiding, I am speaking from my own experience and not from one or two isolated cases…

To help us in this regard, Google is testing a feature in Google Chrome that, if asked, will use artificial intelligence to analyze the content of all open tabs in the browser window and then, It will offer us to sort them according to the criteria it considers relevant.. Of course, as we read in Life Hacker, the feature is only available in the Canary version at the moment, and some modifications are required in advance to test it.

The first thing you should do is make sure you have the latest version of Google Chrome Canary, which is currently 129.0.6632.0. Once this check is done and updated if necessary, you need to edit the three flags and set their status to Enabled. They are the following:

• #card organization
• #tab-organization-settings-visibility
• #multi-tab-organization

Then restart the browser using the button that appears at the bottom (do not do this until you activate all three) and in it go back to the settings, find the “Experimental AI” section on the left. click on it and activate these two entries (the second one won’t appear until you activate the first one)

Everything is ready. To test this, open a few tabs (if you don’t already have them open before), click the arrow shown to the left of the tabs, and in the menu that appears, click Arrange the cards

Click the button now to enable Google Chrome to analyze the tabs and organize them Start and the analysis will start immediately. When it’s done, after a few seconds you’ll be presented with an organization proposal

Does that convince you? In that case, just click the button. Create groups and you’ll have your cards organized in no time
