The new Telegram update has already been distributed to all users after its monthly cadence and comes with significant news, at least for the most demanding users of the mobile messaging application… Because it is precisely on mobile phones that they stand out the most , even if they are not exclusive to this platform.

The main, but not the only, integration is a own web browser… or almostbecause while it’s not an app designed for that purpose, it has several features that one would expect to extend—that’s its real purpose—the possibilities of previous integration for greater convenience and therefore productivity.

Here’s how it’s explained: like all messaging apps and many other mobile apps of various types, Telegram lets you open links in a kind of internal view and lets you browse them briefly; but a little more. Well, there’s going to be a lot more in Telegram from now on, so if you’re one of those people who prefer not to leave the app when opening links…

The new version of Telegram integrates its own browser which It has an address bar, tabs, even bookmarks, all raised, yes, in a somewhat sui generis manner…. or rather adapted to the peculiarities of the area in which everything is done. This will open the links in an overlay interface that can be collapsed, in which the cards are displayed in the bottom bar and in the overall view, which is worth the redundancy, more visually. It will be better understood when you see it.

Bookmarks, on the other hand, are saved as normal “saved messages” personal chat links, although if you want to access the bookmarks section from the navigation view drop-down menu, the System default web browser bookmarks will open. A curious point to say the least. Other options include “open in…, reload, search, share, history«, the other collects only what is relevant for each chat. Very elegant.

Telegram also launches a mini app store in this version, or rather reformulates access to this resource, which is now more accessible and better organized. Similarly, the ability to “create personalized content for stories – such as AI-generated videos, achievements or leaderboard images – that users can share as a Telegram story directly from the mini app” has been added.

And more, including gifting stars (Telegram’s own currency) to friends; possibility flashes when recording video messages for better lighting; animated weather widget in stories; the ability to choose a cover image in stories… and an integrated browser that is part of the desktop application for macOS.
