For this video, the team created parts of Kamakura era Japan (1192-1333) in the new Epic game engine. The showcase features the new Unreal Engine 5 Lumen lighting technology and the Nanite virtualized geometry system. For the main character in this video, TeaserPlay used the model of Aguilar (who also appears in Michael Fassbender’s movie The Assassin’s Creed). Check out this awesome showcase below:

After various reports and rumors, Ubisoft officially confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed Infinity last year, which is said to be still in the relatively early stages of development. The next part of the franchise is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec through a joint inter-studio structure led by franchise veteran Marc-Alexis Kote.
