Since Channels came to WhatsApp, states have had to make room for them, giving most of the space in the renamed tab to News. Now it seems states have regain some of one’s fame with a new design, still in the testing phase.

And WhatsApp didn’t have to reinvent the wheel because everything it needed to give more importance to its statuses was available in another in-house app: Facebook. So, including status previews and has a larger design.

The biggest statuses on WhatsApp
