Autohome has released a series of spy photos of the new Qin PLUS road test. According to previous information, the new car’s exterior and interior design will be comprehensively updated, and its power is expected to be upgraded to BYD’s fifth-generation DM technology. It is said that the new car is expected in the fourth quarter of this year or later.

Upgrade to the Qin L DM-i model, updated with DM 5.0 technology. Its range is 80 km and 120 km. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (maximum power of 74 kW and maximum engine torque of 126 N m). It has the world’s highest engine power of 46.06%, the world’s lowest fuel consumption of 2.9 L per 100 kilometers, and the world’s longest range of 2,100 kilometers.

Judging from the photos, the new car’s general lines are largely the same as the current model, with only details such as the shape of the light cluster and the style of the radiator grille remaining the same. The rest of the design is largely similar to the current model, with the exception of a slight difference in the shape of the wheel hub when viewed from the side. Additionally, the suffix is ​​expected to be replaced with “BYD” instead of the “BUILD YOUR DREAM” logo.

The interior of the new Qin PLUS is not much different from the current model. There is still a central control screen and LCD screen, but the shape of the central control console emphasizes the horizontal visual effect, and the mobile phone storage compartment is located in the island below. At the same time, the style of the gear lever and the location of the multi-function buttons are slightly different from the current model.
