Opposition leader María Corina Machado speaks of a historic moment in Venezuela that affects the entire hemisphere. On the contrary, she says, the current government, through its repression, is revealing its defeat in both areas. We are not going to give up.” Machado insists that what is happening is not a matter of the right or the left, and that what has happened has reached a level that has never been seen before, from Chile to the United States. The political leader says that there are no negotiations, but says that “there is an absolute willingness to negotiate a transition process.”
