OnePlus has launched a new monthly update series for its system OxygenOSis aimed at both phones and tablets. As far as we can tell, this is not a standard over-the-air (OTA) update. Instead, it will update OnePlus’ own apps and add some new system features to improve the software experience. According to OnePlus, the new batch of updates will be available for phones and tablets with firmware versions U120P01(BRB1EX01) and U120P01(BRB3EX01).
The update is rolling out in phases starting August 2 and is expected to reach users in Asia Pacific regions like India, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well as some Middle Eastern countries including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, by September 6.
The main advantage of this new series is that it avoids the usual staged OTA rollout, giving you faster access to updates for apps and new features developed in-house by OnePlus. This means faster bug fixes, improved performance, and possibly new features.
The first update, U120P01, is a relatively minor update that focuses on optimizing the calculator’s unit converter interface and making overall system stability improvements.
Changelog Overview
Calculator
• Optimizes the Unit converter interface on the Calculator to make it neater and more intuitive.

The update series is compatible with a wide range of OnePlus devices, including current flagships and some older models. Eligible devices include:

Old models : OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus Nord 2 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 5G
Users can check for updates by going to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS Card. Like most OTA updates, OnePlus is using a staggered rollout strategy, reaching a limited number of users before a wider release.
