A new regulation recently published in the Official Gazette imposed additional customs duties on products ordered abroad and lowered the store limit from 150 euros to 30 euros. Among those affected by the regulation is the China-based e-commerce platform Temu, which has quickly gained a wide user base. Temu has rapidly gained popularity in Turkey in recent months. According to this data, the number of monthly active users in Turkey has reached 9.3 million, while the number of daily users of the platform is around 1.4 million.
