BYD company presented the Seal 2025 fully electric sedan along with the Seal 07 DM-i hybrid sedan.
The basic Seal 2025 has rear-wheel drive and a 231 hp engine, in the “average” configuration it is also rear-wheel drive, but the engine is more powerful – 313 hp. The top all-wheel drive version has two electric motors with a total power of 530 hp. The traction battery capacity is 61.44 or 80.64 kWh, the range is 510, 650 or 600 km depending on the version (calculated according to the CLTC method). The sedan is built on the 800 V architecture and it takes 25 minutes to charge to 70% (from 10% to 80%). The dimensions of the machine are 4800x1875x1460 mm, the wheelbase is 2920 mm.
BYD Seal 2025 became the company’s first electric car with a leading and complete set of DiPilot 300 driver assistance systems. It is equipped with a heated steering wheel, a panoramic roof with sunshades, 13 airbags, a media system with a wide screen and a multimedia system with a projection screen.
The base 510 Standard Edition costs $24,500, while the rest of the equipment costs as follows: 650 Long Range Edition – $26,500, 650 Intelligent Driving Edition – $30,200, 600 4WD Smart Driving Edition – $33,400.
