The Iraqi suspect reportedly pledged allegiance to ISIS on August 6, but it is unclear whether he had any connection with the planned attack, the newspaper said.

The Austrian authorities would have received information about the threat to Swift’s concert from US intelligence services, since Austrian law does not allow monitoring of instant messaging applicationsa, which the suspects used for communication.

Swift, whose next performance is scheduled in London next week, has not commented on the cancellations.

British police said there was nothing to indicate the events in Vienna would affect the show.
