Elon Musk’s company announced that it has developed new methods that allow satellites Starlink Avoid transmitting signals in the direct line of sight of radio telescopes, do not create interference, and do not prevent astronomers from exploring space.
This was made possible thanks to special software that enables real-time data exchange between observatories and satellites. Starlink.

Provides networks Starlink Telescope observation schedule, including direction and frequency range of observations. The new method guarantees uninterrupted service to Starlink subscribers located near the telescope.
The satellite network of Elon Musk’s company already works according to this scheme with 27 radio telescopes of the Very Large Antenna Array in the US state of New Mexico and the Green Bank Observatory in West Virginia.
