The security specialist Eye Security wants to encourage companies to join forces with a new security portal. It should provide a good overview and can be viewed immediately in the form of a demo tour.
Eye Security is in the spotlight with a new security portal. Organizations can keep a detailed eye on the status of their internal digital security. The portal is linked to important security solutions from, for example, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Google and Sentinel One.
In addition, Eye Security offers integration with a Security Operations Center (SOC) that monitors threats in real time. Users can also see the status.
Users gain insight into the state of their attack surface (e.g. EDR stretching or the presence of MFA), are alerted to key vulnerabilities, and receive useful, internally shareable reports on key security metrics.
This is nothing new: a central and clear portal on the state of internal security is the hobbyhorse of many security specialists. Eye Security now wants to distinguish itself with a demo tour that guides interested parties through the portal.
The tour provides an overview of the security of the fictional company TR Swift Logistics in 23 steps. You will see the three pillars that Eye Security believes are most important for good protection:
The demo is less spectacular than Eye Security suggests. For example, you cannot click around freely in the portal and the tour ends in the souvenir shop: you are redirected to a page to arrange an appointment for a commercial follow-up. However, if you have no idea what such a portal might look like, it is worth clicking through the demo.
