Interestingly, he himself surpassed his own record three years ago by calculating 100 billion numbers in 157 days, so it is astonishing that in addition to generating more digital data, he did it twice as fast.

Scientists and mathematicians throughout history have devoted themselves to the study of the meaning of the number Pi, which today continues to be one of the greatest mysteries of the exact sciences, as it is an infinite sequence of numbers.

Emma Haruka points out that the scientific community still counts because Pi has no transcendental ending, which means that it cannot be written as a finite polynomial.
