Zoom is significantly expanding its video webinar capabilities. Up to one million participants can now participate in a video call simultaneously.
Zoom Video Communications has introduced a new feature that allows webinars to support up to 1 million participants. This new option is available in addition to existing monthly and annual subscriptions.
Organizations are given the opportunity to organize large-scale virtual events in the form of one-off webinars. The organizer decides how many participants he/she wants to admit, between ten thousand and one million.
Flexible and scalable webinar solutions
With this launch, Zoom significantly expands the flexibility and scalability of its webinar solutions. In addition to the ability to host up to one million participants, Zoom offers webinars lasting up to thirty hours and support for up to a thousand interactive video panelists.
Users can choose from different pricing packages, including paying per event or per month. The new feature is currently only available in the US and is already being actively used there to organize election events.
Applications in various industries
Zoom’s new webinar capacity targets various sectors, including large corporations, the entertainment industry, and the public sector. Companies can now address all employees worldwide simultaneously during large meetings, while entertainment industries and government agencies can use this scalable solution to communicate effectively with large audiences.
