Campaign Fundraising Core Team Kamala Harris Raised Four Times More Money Than Donald Trump’s Campaign in JulyIt’s a sign of enthusiasm ahead of the November presidential election, according to federal data released late Tuesday.

Democratic Vice President Harris’ campaign told the Federal Election Commission it had raised the issue $204 million last monthcompared with $48 million reported to the agency by former Republican President Trump’s main fundraising group.

Harris’ figures include money raised in the month before she announced her candidacy on July 21, when President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid. Biden endorses Harriswho led Biden’s fundraising team.

Harris also outspent Trump during the month. $81 million versus $24 millionaccording to their FEC reports.

Harris’ campaign earlier announced that the campaign and the Democratic Party’s main fundraising group In July, they raised a total of $310 million.

Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign also said it and the Republican Party have raised a combined $138 million. While candidates and their parties work together, the amounts raised by the campaign are important because campaigns are legally entitled to deep discounts on television advertising, while parties and other allied groups must pay full price.

Last month, Trump’s reelection effort also received a huge boost from conservative billionaire Timothy Mellon, who gave The pro-Trump super PAC known as MAGA Inc. will get another $50 million. Mellon, heir to the Pittsburgh-based Mellon banking family, has given at least $115 million to MAGA Inc this year.

The super PAC is one of the largest donors to the election and reported spending more than $43 million in July to support Trump’s reelection efforts.
