Fast charging is good, but what really saved me was wireless charging

Personally, as an iPhone user, I must admit that Android’s fast charging gives me long teeth: It is a pleasure to have your phone ready in a very short time. And the truth is that you get used to it quickly. But it’s normal to get into habits: I do the same thing with my phone pretty much every day, I charge it at the same times, and I know how long its battery usually lasts. So, except in exceptional cases, I always charge my phone overnight and that’s it, I’ll make do with that 20W.

Could I use a little faster charging from time to time? Of course: there are those days when for some reason I forget to charge it while I sleep, or the day when I use the phone more than usual and the battery doesn’t last all night, or when I’m just traveling and I don’t know when you’ll be back, or there are very few of them and they’re in demand. But that’s not a drama: I have a power bank and it works.

Fast charging is convenient, but wireless charging saves the day

To tell you the truth, it is not an ordinary power bank: it has a Magsafe (which we remember is also available on Android), that is, it charges wirelessly. And this suits me much better, because I always carry it with me, because when there are emergencies where I need to charge my phone and for whatever reason I can not do it: I can not stay at home, I charge it in one place, there is no socket, I do not carry the charger/adapter with me… it does not really matter, If I carry my battery with wireless charging I don’t need more.

While speed isn’t exactly wireless charging’s strong point, mobility, convenience and independence are. Having a fast adapter to eliminate its charging capabilities is good, but having a power bank with wireless charging is another story. Yes, a wired external battery will do the same thing, but It is really convenient to carry it with the rear attachment without being tied to cables. Since there are no cables, you can use it on the go with minimal disturbance.

I don’t forget critical situations like having a wet port. It happened to me from time to time, even though my phone is moderately waterproof, if liquid gets on the key areas, a warning pops up and a cold sweat breaks out on my forehead, thinking that the problem could be serious. Fortunately, it never happened, but even when you can’t or shouldn’t charge with a cable, wireless charging comes to the rescue to keep your phone powered on without compromising its integrity.
