The funds that the company will obtain, which aims to raise $40 million in investments at a valuation of $400 million, include the expansion of Connecta IoT and Observa constellations, the development of very high-resolution mission payloads, R&D studies for remote sensing and 5G/6G non-terrestrial network technologies, as well as IoT and it will be used to expand into foreign markets in the field of Earth observation services.

Sami Aslanhan stressed that there is a strong team behind the Plan-S initiative and said: “Plan-S currently has a team of 120 people, 70% of whom work in the field of engineering and technology. Our team consists of engineers with a lot of experience in the field of defense, aviation and space, and young engineers with a very high potential. The space systems we have developed All design, production, testing and integration processes are done in-house. With this great team, we will have completed 8 new Connecta IoT satellites by the end of the year. So the number of satellites in Connecta IoT will increase to 12 and our total number of satellites will increase to 17. In 2025, we will launch the first Observa satellite, which will serve for earth observation. Observa satellites are in the microsatellite class and weigh around 80 kg.” he said.
