A faster connection at no extra cost? Scarlet increases the speed of its Internet products for the same price.

Scarlet, the Belgian telecommunications operator, will increase the speed of its internet products from September 1st without adjusting the price. The company is hoping to meet the growing needs of teleworkers, among others. For example, the maximum download speed of the unlimited internet packages will be increased from 70 Mbps to 100 Mbps and the maximum upload speed will be doubled from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps. Users with fiber optic will also benefit from an increase in internet speed.

Why pay more?

Scarlet’s slogan “Why pay more” lives up to its promise. The telecom operator will increase the speed of its internet products without increasing the price from September 1. Specifically, the maximum download speed of the unlimited internet packages (Loco, Trio and Trio Mobile) will increase from 70 Mbps to 100 Mbps, while the maximum upload speed will double from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps.

Scarlet also continues to offer unlimited internet for 34 euros per month and the cheapest Trio packages in Belgium from 42 euros per month. All products are also compatible with fiber. Power users with the Fiber Boost option benefit from an increase from 200 Mbps to up to 300 Mbps for downloads and from 20 Mbps to up to 30 Mbps for uploads.
