Network manufacturer Netgear is ready for the widespread introduction of WiFi 7. According to the manufacturer, the new Orbi 770 is the most accessible WiFi 7 device yet.

Netgear launches its new Orbi 770 Tri-Band Mesh system in Belgium and the Netherlands. The system offers multi-gigabit internet speeds and is equipped with advanced security features for a wide audience.

WiFi 7

Netgear expands its WiFi 7 offering with the launch of the Orbi 770 mesh system. Netgear says this system is the most accessible WiFi 7 mesh solution yet. WiFi 7 offers significant improvements over WiFi 6, such as faster speeds, less lag, and better handling of interference.

Wi-Fi 7 is not yet ubiquitous and will take several years, but router manufacturers have already done their homework. Netgear also launched the Orbi 970 series and the WB750 earlier this year, which are on the latest network standard.

The new Orbi 770 system meets the growing demand for faster internet speeds and reliability, which is especially important as multi-gig internet speeds become more affordable. In addition, the number of devices requiring ultra-low latency, such as AR/VR headsets and AI platforms, is increasing.

11 Gbps

The Orbi 770 mesh system offers coverage of up to 540 m² and supports up to 100 devices. With speeds of up to 11 Gbit/s and the combination of the 5GHz and 6GHz bands, the system promises a stable and reliable Internet connection in large residential and office spaces.

The presence of a 2.5 Gigabit Internet connection allows the use of the latest multi-gig Internet speeds. In addition, the system has several LAN ports on both the router and the satellites, allowing a stable wired connection for devices such as PCs or shared storage.

The Orbi 770 Series has built-in security features that can detect and block both known and unknown threats. A built-in VPN provides additional privacy and protects your devices.
