The drone, which is being developed within the scope of the MIUS project, is planned to make the first Bayraktar Kızılelma flight in 2023. Bayraktar Kızılelma is equipped with Ukrainian twin-circuit turbojet engines AI-25TLT or AI-322F. The first will be able to develop speed close to supersonic, the second will be supersonic. The UAV will also be offered for sale with a modification with the Turkish TEI TF-6000 engine.
Bayraktar Kızılelma will be able to take off from the TCG Anadolu (L-400) landing craft, which is in service with the Turkish Navy. Features of the attack aircraft include invisibility, the ability to launch missile attacks and suppress the enemy air defense system.
