Are you new? Xiaomi and Android control buttons Are they driving you crazy? You are not alone. It also happens to those of us who use normal Xiaomi phones, and whoever says Xiaomi says Redmi or Poco, it doesn’t matter. But it’s very easy to solve, so let’s get to it.
Of course, the layout of the buttons on Xiaomi smartphones will not bother those who have only used devices of this brand, from some other that configures it in the same way, such as Samsung itself (if so) or from those who prefer this way.
On the other hand, many mid-range terminals get rid of the default button panel and relegate device control to gesture control, which practically every current model allows for manual configuration. But as they say, that’s another story.
When I talk about Android control buttons, I mean three buttons that appear at the bottom of the screen: go back, clear (or start wizard if held) and show open apps (see image below these lines).
These control buttons were introduced years ago as a replacement for the typical physical buttons in the first Android, and the system always presented them in the indicated order, but brands adjust them at their discretion, as happens with Xiaomi. And if you were used to the traditional layout…
Well, that’s it: to avoid discomfort, it’s better to change it. Of course, if you don’t like to delve into the system options, you can be overwhelmed with so many modifications, you will look for it on the Internet… And you will find it, among many other places, here. Depending on your phone model, the route may vary, but here’s how to get there safely:
Go to Settings and find “invert buttons”, uncheck that option in fact and you already should.
