Veeam launches Veeam Data Platform v12.2, the latest version of its platform with compatibility for additional virtualization solutions. The new version includes extensive support for Nutanix Prism Central and the Proxmox VE hypervisor, among others, enabling customers to better protect their data and migrate to modern environments. MongoDB backup is also now supported, with immutable storage and centralized management capabilities.
Improved integration with Nutanix AHV enables organizations to protect critical data without disrupting the production environment. Expanded support for AWS and Azure ensures seamless integration of cloud services and helps organizations modernize and secure their IT infrastructure.
For example, the update provides comprehensive support for the cloud with integrations for Amazon FSx, Amazon RedShift, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage. This makes it easier for companies to transition to cloud or hybrid environments and meet compliance and security requirements.
