One of the most repeated rumors that every new Galaxy S generation is returning: the next Samsung Galaxy S25, according to Korean media Hankyung, Qualcomm processors in all regions.
Samsung has continued its policy of launching high-end phones with different processors depending on the region since the beginning. They come to Spain with Exynos processors, and to the United States and a few other countries with Qualcomm. We would have processors in the Galaxy S25 Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for everyone.
A Snapdragon for everyone
Every year Samsung releases new Galaxy S models and also a new version of its Exynos processors. New Galaxy S launches in Europe include latest Exynosbut in other countries like the United States, Canada or Japan, the Galaxy S has Qualcomm’s latest high-end processor inside. Without going any further, this is exactly what happened with the latest Samsung Galaxy S24: some have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and some have the Exynos 2400.
The problem is that some users are complaining about this Exynos processors don’t perform that well Like its Qualcomm equivalents. If we believe the Korean media, this would not happen in the next generation Samsung Galaxy S25 because it would have the same processor everywhere.
This processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 across all regions, it’s one of the few exceptions to the processor farm since the series’ inception. The other two exceptions were the Galaxy S6 (all Exynos) and the Galaxy S23 (all Qualcomm).
