In mid-August, NTX acquired the IT company ECX from Reet. Since September 1, both companies have been operating together under the name NTX. The acquisition is an important step in NTX’s growth strategy and is intended to lead to better customer service.
The Belgian IT company NTX has completed the acquisition of ECX as part of its growth strategy. “The acquisition of ECX fits perfectly with our growth ambitions and is in line with our vision and mission,” says Managing Director Koen Vanlommel. Both NTX and ECX offer similar services and share the same corporate values. The integration of the companies is intended to provide better customer service.
NTX was formed in April this year from a merger between Netflow, Netropolix and Cavere. The merger was announced in late 2022 and administratively closed in April 2024 with the launch of the new name NTX. Following this merger, NTX continued to seek further growth, which led to the acquisition of ECX.
ECX specialises in infrastructure solutions and has an annual turnover of around EUR 2.1 million. Before the acquisition, the company employed ten people, who were integrated into the NTX team as of September 1. Vermeulen will take on a new role at NTX.
With this strategic acquisition, NTX is taking a step towards developing and strengthening its position in the IT sector.
