Adobe has started testing a free version of Photoshop online and plans to open the service to the public.
The company is currently testing a free version in Canada where users can access Photoshop through a free Adobe account. In the future, Adobe plans to remove some features from the free version and make them available only to paid users. But the free access will be enough tools for basic image editing tasks.
Adobe first released a web version of Photoshop in October. In the past months, the company has made several updates to the service. Unfortunately, Adobe has not specified when the free version will be released for a wider range of users.
Adobe today also introduced a new neural network filter that can automatically remove scratches from an old yellowed photo and restore some of its color.
