Microsoft launches the ARM-based Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 for business customers.
Several PC makers are launching their latest Copilot+ PCs ahead of IFA 2024. Microsoft is also unveiling its latest Copilot+ PC additions: the ARM-based Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 for business customers. The first version is very similar to the consumer version, with the big difference being that the business version has an NFC reader for NFC security keys. In addition, the new Surface Laptop 7 is available with the same screen options as the consumer version and with a choice of Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite chips.
Business variants
The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 for business customers is very similar to the consumer version, with a few additions. For example, this latest version has an NFC reader for NFC security keys. The tablet is available with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus and The Surface Pro 11 for business customers will be available from September 10, with the 5G models coming on September 26.
In addition, the new Surface Laptop 7 offers the same choice of Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite chips, plus 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Unlike the Surface Pro 11, the Surface Laptop 7 does not have an additional NFC sensor and the OLED display option remains an exclusive extra for the high-end Surface Pro 11. The Surface Laptop 7 for business customers has the same screen options as the consumer version (13.5 inches and 15 inches).
