New routers and home automation from AVM

• FRITZ!Box 6860 5Ga 5G and Wi-Fi 6 compatible mobile data connection solution designed for indoor and outdoor use. It reaches speeds of up to 1.3 Gbps.
• FRITZ!Box 5690a fiber optic router (GPON/AON) that has Wi-Fi 7 and comes with 2.5 Gbps LAN connectivity.
• FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS, an improved version of the previous model that has 10 Gbps LAN connectivity and that retains Wi-Fi 7 compatibility.
• FRITZ!Box 4690, This wireless router also has Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and a 10 Gbps LAN port.
• FRITZ! Smart Energy 250, solution for reading and measuring electricity consumption and transmission of consumption data. Ideal to start saving. This product also brings an important name change affecting the FRITZ!Dect products, which will be called FRITZ!Smart.

New Wi-Fi repeaters

• FRITZ! Repeater 1200 W7, This repeater is compatible with Wi-Fi 7 and can operate at speeds of up to 3,500 Mbps by combining its two bands. Compatible with Wi-Fi Mesh.
• FRITZ!Repeater 2400 W7, It is a faster version of the previous one, maintains compatibility with Wi-Fi 7, by combining its two bands it reaches 6,400 Mbps and is compatible with Wi-Fi Mesh.
• FRITZ!Mesh Set 1200 Wi-Fi 6, A Wi-Fi 6 repeater kit that can reach speeds of up to 3,000 Mbps by combining its two bands.
• FRITZ!Mesh Set 3000 Wi-Fi 6, This set is faster than the previous one as it has a maximum speed of up to 4200 Mbps when combining its two bands.

AVM also confirmed this during IFA will introduce FRITZ!OS 8another major update to its well-known operating system, replacing FRITZ!OS 7.8 and bringing more than 60 new features and improvements.

It will be deployed gradually, and you can activate automatic updates on your FRITZ!Box so it will install without you having to do anything as soon as it is available. As we have more information about this update, we will share it in another article.
