HONOR Magic V3 is the new star of the Chinese company’s mobile catalog and was just presented at the international IFA trade fair. Its most important feature has already been announced: it’s a phone the thinnest foldable phone on the market.

The Magic V2 showed us that HONOR took the folding phone competition very seriously against the benchmark in the segment, Samsung and its Fold and Flip series. Now, on this basis and following the line of work established to create a special variant with Porsche Design, the HONOR Magic V3 comes to improve upon its predecessors.

The manufacturer maintains the general design and screen sizes. Book format and dual screenboth with high OLED resolution, refresh rate (120 Hz) and size, internal 7.92 inches and external 6.43 inches. Its dimensions, as we said, are record-breaking, sa only 9.2 mm thick folded and unfolded 4.35 mm. Its total weight is 226 grams, which is not bad even for its size.

HONOR promises that its hinge system can support up to half a million folding and unfolding cycles. The same screens were also protected with a layer of NanoCrystal Shield (anti-scratch). “stands up to the rigors of everyday use” and has the SGS Durability certificate. IPX8 water resistance is also a matter of course.

The company has updated its hardware engine to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is the most powerful Qualcomm can use in a mobile phone. It is complemented by 12 GB RAM (+12 GB HONOR Turbo RAM) and 512 GB for internal storage.

On the level cameraswe see a triple sensor setup in the main one, which with an octagonal design includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. The front selfie camera has a 20MP sensor. Of course, the manufacturer puts a nice line of them artificial intelligence functions for photography and video tasks and for all mobile use in general.

HONOR Magic V3 battery has capacity 5150 mAh and can be charged with a 66W wired fast charging system and 50W wireless charging. Of course, connectivity is at the highest level with 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port for charging and data.

With its own Magic UI 8.0.1 interface based on Android 14 and three color finishes, the HONOR Magic V3 can now be purchased in Spain at an official price of 1,999 euros. The manufacturer has launched a series of promotions on its site to make it cheaper, such as using a discount coupon that will let your final price 1699 euros.
